I grew up in California in the early 50's and remember visiting Corriganville. I am a product of TV westerns. I remember that filming was done for the day, but I did get an autograph of a Chief White Eagle. I remember crawling around in the boulders and also looking down into Fort Apache. I was disappointed when I went to the fort as it was just a front. I remember the flag pole and the cannon, but not much else. I remembered how it looked on Rin Tin Tin and so was just a little sad. I remember eating a picnic lunch by a small bridge by a pond or small lake. It seemed as if a similar place was shown on the old Little House series many years later. Maybe it was just a similar place. Oh well. Thanks for letting me share a childhood memory.
