The Fryman Ranch was located in Laurel Canyon in an area west of Laurel Canyon Blvd. around Oakdell Road and Fryman Road (north of Mulholland Drive). The current Laurel Canyon Park is part of the entire ranch area. The ranch may well be the one that is mentioned in William Witney's book "In a Door, into a Fight, Out a Door, into a Chase" where he had a bit part in a movie that utilized a fort set in Laurel Canyon, not far from Studio City.

Special thanks to Dan Tomlinson who grew up on a portion of the old Fryman Ranch.

An unidentified western.
